About the Role
The Director Performance Office (m/f/d) is responsible for leading all E²E resilience of the supply chain activities for the Automotive Division. This leader will work collaboratively and have financial oversight of Benchmarks and Gap closure actions for Global Automotive Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Operations, and Marketing, HR, IT, and other SGA Functions. This role will have close interaction and alignment with Automotive Division leadership and Operations, Procurement & SIOP management globally. Our Performance Office is a critically important team and we are looking for a strong and well-versed professional that has a real talent within the finance and controlling environment.
What You Will Do
- Partner with the Automotive Division leadership and functional leaders with a primary focus on the Automotive E²E Resilience program
- Lead in-depth business operational/financial reviews with a focus on IBP & additional work packages supporting gap closure to benchmark in the various functional areas (sales, purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, operations)
- Lead the PMO office including setting up of reporting infrastructure, perform key finance KPI measurement and reporting including monthly financial and operational reporting and analysis of Gap closure actions, implementation details and impact of actions in current rollout of all E²E related work packages
- Ensure commitments including capital budgets, expense budgets and timing targets are achieved through the implementation and follow up of current year plans
- Ensure IBP related commitments for individual programs are tracked over the program
- Support senior management with ad hoc and periodic actions regarding the E²E rollout for assigned functions
- Reports to the Vice President, SIOP, Automotive Division. The role will oversee a project team comprised of 30+ employees
What You Need
- Degree in Business Management, MBA preferred
- 5+ years of experience in Commercial / Operations role, PMO background in large programs
- Automotive industry (either OEM or supplier) experience is preferable
- Strong leadership, ownership of results, influencing and collaboration skills
- Previous experience working within a global matrixed organization
- Demonstrated pivotal decision making as they relate to strategic initiatives and operational models
- Be willing to travel up to 20% of the time
