What can you expect as a Developer at FLYERALARM? You will work in an agile environment, developing our products and their corresponding configurator through web-based and back-end applications, cooperating with our Product Owners and departments (e.g. UX/UI, SEO, IT-Sec.). Some of our products are oriented to the web-to-print integration.

What is our goal? We create individually customized automation solutions to develop our products faster and handle our configurators better. What does success look like for us? We measure our success thanks to our KPIs and OKRs in order to continuously improve our performance as a team. You will immediately feel how essential our strong team spirit is for you as a PHP Software Developer m/f/d.

Your tasks:

• You work as a member of an agile software development team, i.e. you are responsible for the entire development cycle of your projects with your team, enhancing transparency and communicating internally as well as externally effectively to promote successful solutions to satisfy our needs, etc.
• You can give advice to our departments as new requirements emerge
• Development: with your team you will be in charge of both planning and implementing new solutions and demands
• Operations: you take care of running and maintaining the web applications created by your team
• You create automated software tests and integrate third-party systems in the service constellation of FLYERALARM
• You use and develop our CI-Pipeline further
• You support our junior Devs and apprentices in our path of continuous improvement

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent apprenticeship
• At least 2 years of prior working experience in object-oriented software development (e.g. PHP, Java, C#, ...)
• Profound knowledge of Software Design Patterns
• Good working knowledge of JavaScript and front-end technologies
• You learn quickly and your ability to deal with complex problems distinguishes you
• Ideally: you already know the DevOps way of life, Git, Linux, Nginx, Docker and Azure
