- Safely conduct flight test operations on aircraft for the purpose of research, development and certification in accordance with authority and company policies and procedures.
- Duties include flight planning, safety of flight activities, test reporting, generating operational documentation, training, and support of the engineering team with pilot evaluations.
- Contribute to the aircraft design with respect to pilot interface and human factors.
- Observe company and EASA rules and regulations, and proper use of safety and risk mitigation methods and the safe operation of equipment.
- Review and approve flight test related documents.
- Review and approve test aircraft operational documentation and checklists.
- Conduct test pilot activities on rigs and simulators and report on test operations.
- Engineering degree in a STEM subject
- Graduate of an accredited Test Pilot School
- 3+ years of job experience in development flight test
- EASA CPL/IR or ATPL with category 1 flight test rating
- 1500 hours PIC time on Part 25 aircraft, including 200 hours of flight test
- EASA class I medical certificate
