The NDT Inspector reports to the respective Team Manager / The Responsible NDT Level 3 as far as technical issues are concerned. A person with level 2 certification is qualified to perform all NDT activities for which they are approved (ET, PT and UT). and must have practical skills and knowledge within the scope of the NDT methods and NDT regulations.

• Having Practical skills and knowledge of the framework of NDT, such as testing equipment and organization in the approved methods,
• To have the know-how of other NDT procedures and product technologies of the employer, even outside its approval,
• To gain experience with the handling of the devices as well as their indications.

Qualified and certified NDT personnel has the duty:

• To perform NDT tests on components,
• To verify customers NDT related requirements,
• To record theoretical and practical experience on Form 9.310 "NDT Experience Report",
• To document the NDT tests carried out on the NDT reports provided for this purpose and to make them available to Level 3, immediately after an inspection has been performed,
• To evaluate the indications of components,
• To block or release parts,
• Perform NDT Inspections as requested within the Service Center Network and by outside customers,
• To Schedule, plan and perform NDT Jobs and the related required travel,
• To evaluate and document structural damage.

Your Profile:

• NDT Certification Level II iaw EN4179 for at least ET or UT, and experience in the Methods ET, UT and PT,
• Experience in maintenance and repair of business jets as well as private jets is helpful,
• Experience in evaluating and reporting structural damage, as appropriate in the aviation industry,
• Very good knowledge of the English language, verbally and in written,
• Open to technology and good knowledge of MS Office applications,
• Willingness to work assignments in Germany and abroad (Travel up to 50%),
• Fulfillment of all necessary requirements to obtain and maintain an Airport Security Identification Card,
• Class B driver's license.
