About the Role
The Keller research group specializes in developing state-of-the-art theoretical and data-driven methods to model complex molecular dynamics. Key research areas include rare events and molecular kinetics in systems with multiple metastable states.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct molecular dynamics simulations using enhanced-sampling and dynamic-reweighting methods
- Develop and validate machine-learning (ML) force fields using DFT reference data
- Utilize high-performance computing infrastructure
- Collaborate closely with experimental research partners
- Document research progress, present findings, and publish scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals
Project Details
This project combines computational chemistry, multiscale modeling, and scientific machine learning to enable efficient simulations of complex molecular processes. Research focuses on activation processes, free-energy barriers, and molecular kinetics governing biomolecular dynamics and chemical reactivity, ranging from peptide dynamics to organic reactions with advanced ML force fields.
Key Qualifications
Completed Master's degree (or equivalent) in chemistry, physics, or a related natural science field.
