What to Expect

Location: Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg

Time type: Part-time

Start date: October 2023

During your time as a working student at Tesla you are at the heart of vehicle quality and can personally contribute to improving our product. You will take part in audits, audit reviews and audit presentations both on working and management level. You will document findings in an audit app, follow up tasks necessary to improve the product quality and work on improving product audit processes. Ultimately, you will get deep insights into the world of manufacturing cars.

What You’ll Do

You will analyse, document and report findings of product audits for complete vehicles (both static and dynamic evaluations) and prepare daily audit meetings and presentations for working as well as senior management level.
You will improve audit processes and standards, find improvements in audit apps and interfaces to other existing systems.
You will support all required problem-solving activities.
Gain a firm understanding of how product quality at production companies is improved and maintained!
Gain a firm understanding of how a quality organization works!
Gain a firm understanding of vehicle attributes and technologies!
Learn how to communicate and coordinate in a fast-paced environment with dozens of stakeholders!

What You’ll Bring

Studying towards or recently graduated from a degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
Good communication skills in both English and German
Solid understanding of production processes and quality methods
Ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities
Analytical mindset and problem-solving oriented
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point)
Superior level of motivation and comfort working in a high energy, fast-paced environment
Passion for Tesla’s mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy
