A first insight:

We are looking for energetic support for our Finance team as soon as possible with the perspective to act as team leader.

Your tasks:

• You take over the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to the German Commercial Code (HGB)
• You consolidate financial statements and report them to management
• Furthermore you analyze and optimize accounting and financial processes
• You will be responsible for day-to-day accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting
• The preparation of tax returns and advance VAT returns also fall under your activities
• You are the contact person for auditors, tax consultants and authorities
• And collaborate on projects for the further development of the finance department

Your profile:

• You have a degree in business administration or a commercial apprenticeship with further training as a balance sheet accountant (m/f/d)
• You bring at least 5 years of professional experience in balance sheet accounting, preferably from the e-commerce industry
• In-depth knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and the use of accounting software (e.g. DATEV) characterize you
• You work analytically, conceptually and solution-oriented
• High level of initiative, sense of responsibility and ability to work in a team are a matter of course for you
• You communicate excellently in German, English skills are an advantage
