Jr. Data Engineer (m/f/d)

• Deliver and manage the data warehousing aspects of business intelligence and analytics. This includes the capability to architect, design, develop and support data extraction, transformation and orchestration processes in addition to data modeling and performance optimization on the data warehouse.
• Create and optimize data pipelines using Airflow, DBT and BigQuery within the Google Cloud Platform. This includes maintenance of the underlying infrastructure and full ownership over all ELT processes.
• Work with the BI team to design and develop the BI tooling from an engineering perspective (modeling, performance optimisation, dashboarding, etc ..).
• Work closely together with other teams in the organization (Tech teams, Marketing, and Business development) to plan the roadmap for the tech and data organization and execute accordingly.
• Execute proofs of concept to test and evaluate new tools and technologies relevant to business intelligence and analytics and propose adoption wherever necessary.
• Implement complex analytical projects with a focus on modeling, analyzing and visualizing data in various fields, e.g. marketing attribution, out-of-home analysis, churn modeling, medical studies

• Have a Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or other relevant fields.
• Are experienced in SQL and Python
• Have excellent analytical and communication skills with a quantitative approach to problems.
• are eager to learn, to grow, and to take responsibility for your work.
• Have professional English skills, German is a plus
