Commercial Strategy Manager (m/f/d)

In this exciting chapter of continued growth and expansion for Chase, we’re looking for a passionate Commercial Strategy Manager (m/f/d) who will drive our projects, starting from helping to define the problem statement and understanding & prioritizing what is required to solve it to planning and executing required research, interviews with experts and synthesizing results supporting decision making. Joining us you will have the opportunity and responsibility to steer JPMorgan Chase & Co. growth direction.
As a member of our strategy team, you'll use your problem solving, teamwork, communication and leadership skills to help set strategic direction across business, operations and technology areas:
Job responsibilities:
- Co-development of workplans to test / evaluate strategies and insights
- Prioritization of research and actions
- Standalone, self-driven execution of strategic projects
- Pro-active and standalone in desktop research, reach-out to other experts within JPMorgan Chase & Co network
- Flagging potential risks and roadblocks for strategy execution
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in management consulting or internal consulting functions as a standalone analyst / Associate
- Understanding of the banking business model, balance sheet and P&L
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Economics or another relevant area
- Strong analytics, ability to model business issue in Excel
- Strong conceptual thinking, ability to develop frameworks
- Fluent English and German language skills, both oral and written;
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Experience working in fintech / start-up industry in Germany
- Knowledge of public sources of data / information relating to financial services industry in Europe
