We are looking for a reliable and committed cleaner for our Fotografiska Berlin museum with immediate effect. Your main task will be the cleaning and maintenance of all rooms as well as the outside areas of our museum.
Cleaning of all Fotografiska Berlin premises, as well as outdoor areas around the Oranienburger Straße 54 property.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Cleaning and maintenance of rooms (dusting, vacuuming, wet mopping, window cleaning, cleaning toilets, emptying trash cans).
- Changing and refreshing hygiene products (e.g. changing towels, refilling soap containers, replacing disposable hygiene products)
- Inspection and documentation of cleaning
- Minor repairs (e.g. replacing light bulbs)
- Documentation of defects
- Replenishing supplies (e.g. coffee, drinks etc. in the canteen)
- Compliance with hygiene standards
- Supporting the janitor with waste disposal
Requirements
- Willingness to work alternating shifts (early/late/night)
- Flexibility to work at other locations within the company as required
- Direct supervision by the janitor
- Good knowledge of German for communication with the management on site
- High sense of responsibility and hygiene awareness
- Flexibility, independent working style and maximum reliability
- Enjoyment of work and a pronounced service orientation
- Good manners, friendliness and a well-groomed appearance
- Resilience and good time management, even under pressure
- Willingness to provide assistance to other departments if required
- Knowledge of English is an advantage
- Ideally HCCP certification
