Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
Experience leading sales operations for enterprise-level accounts.
Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.
Experience in building relationships with external C-level members.

Preferred qualifications:

3 years of experience in the digital marketing industry (retail media industry).
Experience with Google products.
Thought leadership capabilities, strong communication skills, and strategic thinking.
Keen sense for project management and global strategy development.
Ability to communicate in English and German fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end strategic relationships with key retail media clients, driving retail media business growth within Google’s existing solutions.
Partner with industry managers to identify, pitch, and implement impactful retail media advertising opportunities across the retail sector.
Develop expertise and share learnings on how to position Google’s product suite as retail media solutions and stay ahead of market trends.
Further develop Google’s retail media narrative and playbook to address the specific challenges and needs of the German market.
Drive retail media feature requests in partnership with Go-To-Market and ensure German retailer benefit from the newest product launches on the roadmap (e.g. SA360 beta).
