Your role and responsibility:

In your role, you will support the Global Controlling Team at Heraeus Precious Metals in Hanau.
You will be involved in day-to-day business, coordinating with controlling and sales contacts at our international locations.
Your tasks will include assisting with month-end closing and budget planning as well as creating ad-hoc analyses (e.g. in Power BI or Qlik) and coordinating sub-projects.
You will support the calculation of the corporate carbon footprint and the key figures for ESG reporting.
You will work in a dynamic work environment with a lot of creative freedom and the opportunity to take responsibility and contribute your own ideas.
Immerse yourself in practice and expand your theoretical understanding from your studies with practical application as part of a voluntary or mandatory internship.

Your profile:

Advanced degree (at least in the 2nd year of study) in the field of economics, business informatics, or equivalent
Valid certificate of study for the entire period of employment
Strong analytical skills and a very good understanding of numbers
Initial experience with programs such as SQL, R, Python, SAS, Stata, Matlab, PLC would be an advantage
Good MS-Office skills as well as very good English skills
Ability to work in a team as well as good communication skills are among your strengths
