Elucidate is a ratings and data analysis company for financial institutions. Banks across the world use our products to establish, manage, and delight their banking relationships, generating new opportunities and business growth. We provide financial institutions with two core products: Ratings and Risk Pricing.

As a QA Analyst (m/f/d) you will be responsible for improving the quality of our service and enhancing the customer experience. You will have the opportunity to have a real impact on crucial problems that affect customers and Elucidate. You will be working with internal stakeholders closely to ensure that effective assurance information is extracted and analysed from the Elucidate databases. A key requirement of the role is supporting the team to build operational processes and customer care support.

What you will be doing:

• Testing new features to make sure things work as our users will expect.
• Be part of feature definition and ensure critical paths test cases are defined.
• Ensuring common user journeys are problem-free, smooth and clear.
• Gauging how significant bugs are and making sure important bugs get fixed.
• Finding workarounds for insignificant or rare bugs, so that our customer support team can advise those few users who may come across them.
• Leading monthly governance meetings where relevant metrics will be reviewed and plans created.
• Work very close together with the product managers and the developers.
• Driving improvements of processes, procedures and knowledge management.
• Maintain and develop our e2e tests.
• Be involved with our ISO 27001 audit

We are looking for a person with:

• Experience in testing web applications in a startup environment
• Strong written communication skills, especially around technical subjects
• Deep pragmatic and prioritisation skills: You understand the trade-off between velocity and perfection
• Interest in learning how great products are built
• Motivation in automating your job as much as possible
• Strong communication skills in English (other languages is a plus)

Our interview process involves 4 main stages:

• Short video-call with the Hiring Manager
• Data task (to be completed at home)
• Competency-based interview x 2
