Role Summary:

We are looking for someone with great clinical and medical communication skills to join our Medical Affairs team in DACH. Bring your experience of educating and treating people with diabetes, and your knowledge of Continuous Glucose Monitoring (RTCGM) to help develop education programs and materials that will equip HCPs and our non-clinical colleagues across DACHS with the knowledge they need to understand and support people with diabetes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

It is essential that we remain up to date with the latest developments in Diabetes, RTCGM and diabetes technology (insulin applying systems, software, DiGAs), so that we can best serve our HCPs and people with diabetes and provide accurate advice and support.

The Medical Affairs team EMEA are our resident experts regarding the treatment of diabetes, medical communication, medical device product training, clinical studies, and the use of RTCGM as a management tool for diabetes. In your role, you will report to the Sr. Medical Manager DACHS.

As a Professional Education Specialist, at Dexcom, you will facilitate the promotion of emerging clinical trial data, do researches to expanded indications, support strategic publications, and health outcome research with KOLs and other relevant parties via presentations, discussions and face-to-face meetings, and publications.

You will develop the background and the media and take the lead on providing clinical and education to our Sales, Market Access, Marketing and Technical Support teams in DACH. Your expertise in the field of diabetes education will enable us to develop the educational tools and clinical messaging needed for a variety of audiences.

This will include working collaboratively with EMEA and DACHS Training, Regulatory, Clinical and Quality departments. You can expect to collaborate with clinical colleagues worldwide.

This is an exciting role for a confident education communicator who is passionate about high standards in clinical education, and keen to support Dexcom’s efforts to be leader in RTCGM & Diabetes technology education and driving RTCGM as a standard of care.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• Qualified and Registered Nurse, Nutrition scientist, Medical Liaison Manager (or another relevant clinical qualification) with diabetes specialisation and experience
• You must have extensive experience in KOL Management, Networking and as speaker and moderator
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required (HCP communication), with the confidence to convey and present complex information in a manner that meets the needs of the audience.
• A team-focused and collaborative approach to work.
• Fluent in German and English with the ability to read and interpret clinical and scientific documents, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Additional language skills in French and Italian are welcome
• Excellent Power Point and Presenter skills
