The V-Label is an internationally recognised, registered symbol for labelling vegan and vegetarian products and services. As part of the QM team you are on the forefront of keeping the label the most trusted Label in Germany. You will together with the QM team ensure proper checking procedures, support the various internal V-Label DE teams, inspection bodies, licensees and work closely with the international V-Label team with the goal to ensure unified and streamlined QM procedures and best-in-class experience for all peers (internal and external). You’ll work towards automizing processes in order to free up the teams and your time for expert work.

Reports to: V-Label Senior QM Manager

Department: V-Label

Location: Berlin, Germany or remote in Germany

Hours: 30 - 40 per week

• QM support for projects of the various V-label DE category teams

• Calling customers for inspection, scheduling and site selection, coordination of inspection institutes and coordination of audit preparation and follow-up by V-Label customer advisors.

• Process management of audit communication as well with licensees and control bodies

• Evaluating audit reports/checklists, determining measures and follow-up, risk-dependent determination of the time period until the follow-up audit

• Coordinating and onboarding of partner control institutes, with regular exchange on operational and structural updates and processes

• National and international exchange and negotiation with potential new inspection partners

• Acting as a contact person for the V-Label team regarding audits and QM topics (process optimisation, avoidance of cross-contamination, etc.)

• Contributing to quarterly targets and annual targets for the QM department

• Supporting the introduction of a QM module within the used software

• Researching and documenting of potentially critical ingredients in various areas (Food & Non-Food)

• Supporting the licensees and international V-Label partners with regard to production-related avoidance of cross-contamination in accordance with the V-Label criteria.

• Supporting in planning and organisation of annual meetings with control bodies

• Checking of to be licensed products

• Supporting the creation and maintenance of documentation

Required:

• Successfully completed vocational training in the fields of pharmacy, biology, chemistry or as a laboratory assistant

• Proficient and passionate about utilizing online tools

• Demonstrates curiosity and enthusiasm for the vegan status of consumer goods

• Ability to work independently with a keen eye for detail

• Good communication skills and intercultural competence

• Strong organisational skills, reliability and proactive problem-solving abilities

• Exhibits a positive, respectful and enthusiastic work attitude

• Excellent written and spoken German skills (C2)

• A very good command of written and spoken English (C1)

Nice to have:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject (such as food technology, food chemistry, chemistry, polymer chemistry, material sciences, nutritional sciences, biology, biotechnology, pharmacy, quality management, oenology, cosmetology, textile chemistry) or experience in certification of seals or standards (V-Label, organic, ISO, IFS, etc.).
