The CARIAD Integration Test Center (TI-3) is responsible for the development of the test concepts, test infrastructure, and operations to ensure validated software releases for usage in vehicle projects of all Volkswagen brands.
The department “Test Operations” (TI-33) as part of TI-3 has the responsibility to ensure highly efficient test operations for all solution trains testing on all infrastructure levels including vehicle workshops. A very important focus of TI-33 is the smooth operation of those workshops to ensure timely updates and maintenance actions for CARIAD development vehicles. We are looking for new colleagues who are experienced in vehicle workshop operation and are eager to build a powerful team to support the development of the leading automotive tech stack.
- Manage and operate integration workshop site
- Monitoring, implementation and control of all orders, modifications and workshop activities including the procurement of software, hardware and measurement technology in the workshop
- Responsible for the correct technical implementation of all activities including the required documentation
- Interface to all relevant development departments
- Responsible for the coordination of internal and external partners
- Ensure management of sites according to prototype rules and regulations
- Responsible for documentation according to applicable standards (e.g. ISO)
- Responsible for the coordination of occupational health and safety measures, prototype protection and high-voltage protection and support testing activities
- Professional or Academic education is required
- More than 4 years of professional experience in integration workshop site management
- More than 4 years of professional experience in relevant workshop and state-of-the-art diagnostic tools
- More than 4 years of professional experience in software updates, vehicle commissioning, measurement technology commissioning and component assemblies
- Experience in working with prototypes
- Experience in working with HV systems and HV vehicles
- Preferable Qualified electrician (EFK)
- Strong language proficiency in English and German (oral and written)
