Your Tasks
- You align company-wide governance responsibility in the field of global substance and material management and requirements from, e.g. EU REACH, China REACH, US TSCA
- You design and lead global projects related to substances and material management
- You elaborate the design and development of master data reporting and maintenance in the context of substance and material management
- You represent the company's interests in product-related environmental protection in associations and standardization bodies at regional and global level and coordinate these with other governance officers focusing on substance and material management
- You evaluate and design frameworks from European and global Green Deals guidelines e.g. arising from the Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability
- You contribute to the company-wide policy authority for product-related environmental protection at corporate level on the above named topics
- You actively participate in the controlling of product-related data and processes
- You provide input for internal and external communication with regard to the product-related environmental protection on corporate level complete your area of responsibility
Your Profile - The basis of your success is a Masters degree in chemistry and material science or a comparable subject ideally with a doctorate or MBA
- At least long-term international professional and relevant project experience in substance and material management
- You have comprehensive knowledge of substance and material legislation as well as material declaration processes in the supply chain
- Extensive knowledge of the landscape of software solutions for product compliance are a plus
- Additionally, you have longterm professional experience in intercultural cooperation
- Advanced communication techniques are a hallmark of your role, as is the ability to tailor your communications to different audiences
- You are experienced in presenting and communicating pilot studies and show cases on senior management level
- You are characterized by good communication and presentation skills
- English language skills at an advanced level complete your profil
