As (Senior) Enterprise Architect (f/m/d) it will be your goal to influence leaders (e.g. product owner) and departments (e.g. sustainability) to build the strategic solutions and platforms of our expanding digital landscape. You will shape the overall IT architecture of Heidelberg Materials as a team member of the enterprise architecture group, working closely with technical experts and agile product teams in the various internal departments and external partner networks. Based in Heidelberg, you will have impact in a global scope, engaging with colleagues around the world to form the future IT of a DAX company.
- Lead the architecture work within our strategic initiatives
- Develop the target architecture and transition, considering the digital strategy, newest technologies and performing of PoCs
- Create a lasting impact by shaping our overall IT strategy and landscape together with the EA Team and tight partnering with the business & IT stakeholders
- Develop and embrace the EA capabilities, particularly methodologies, IT landscape management and architecture process
- Evaluate and provide advice about the architectural impact of business and IT demands
- Document and communicate architectural alignments to senior and executive management and highlight field of actions
- University Degree, preferably in business information systems or computer science or any similar qualification or comparable level of professional experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in mid- to large-scale IT architecture, e.g. as Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect
- Professional experience with architectures and projects in at least one business domain such as manufacturing, data management or similar
- Experience with one cloud platform (Azure, SAP BTP) or comparable are preferred
- Knowhow of EA modelling, methodologies and frameworks is a plus
- Strong presentation (C-level), moderation and analytical skills
- Good English language skills, German language skills are an advantage
- Willingness to travel if required
