Process Engineer (m/f/d) – Germany (Tamm, Pfedelbach, Rippershausen), Bulgaria (Kuklen)
Your Job
- In this function you are responsible to define and implement new manufacturing technologies and concepts within required customer,
product, safety, quality, timing and cost requirements
- Supporting mid- to long-term equipment capacity planning including definition of required CAPEX requirements
- Support the product development process by assessing technical feasibility, suggesting manufacturing technologies and design
optimizations
- Managing industrialization-projects within the global Wille Elbe manufacturing footprint
- Responsible for providing robust production processes that are compliant with series norms, regulations and production standards in an
automotive environment
- On-Site supporting plants in scrap reduction and increase of product quality & process reliability
- Supporting plants in identification of cost saving potentials including optimization of production flow and implementation of lean
management strategies
- Focus on design for manufacturing and representative for Process Engineering in the project teams
- Preparation and presentation of technical concepts, project status to different stakeholder
Your Profile
- Successfully completed Bachelor/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronic Engineering
- >4 years' professional experience in an automotive R&D or process development environment with exposure to all design phases
- Should have advanced experience with CNC metalworking technologies (milling, turning, welding), automation and automated assembly
systems as well as general manufacturing processes, equipment behavior and machine controls
- Qualification for MTM2-UAS; P-FMEA; Layout experience with CAD Software; Experience in IIOT4.0 and PLC
- Good knowledge of German and English (written and spoken); willingness to travel; stationed at either one of above-named branches
