Job Summary:

The Scientist will be responsible for QC bioassay group documentation and related experimentation, method transfer, document quality improvement, deviation, and OOS investigation in Bioassay Group of WuXi Biologics.

Essential Job Functions:

• Write and revise analytical method, protocol, report and other technical documents.
• Perform testing, such as ELISA, cell based bioassay, enzyme activity. according to relevant SOP & AMP, test methods and cGMP requirements.
• Promptly and properly document tests and results per GDP
• Proactively search for opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and achieve technical excellence.
• Maintain the laboratory environment according to requirements of 5S management and EHS.
• To undertake other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Education:

• PhD, MS, BS, or Associate degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biological Engineering, or other related field.

Experience:

• MS with minimum 1 year, BS with minimum 3 years, or Associate Degree with minimum 6 years of bioassay experiences in pharmaceutical industries

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

• Excellent oral and communication skills (German, English is a plus)
• Good computer operation skill, intermediate level in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
• Critical thinking, scientific reasoning and problem solving skills
• Knowledge and expertise in at least one of the following fields:
• Biochemistry and immunochemistry techniques, such as ELISA, cell based bioassay, enzyme activity, etc.
