Enable the manufacturing of next generation microchips and join #TeamZeiss in the Semiconductor Mask Solutions (SMS) business unit.

Semiconductor lithography drives today’s digitalization and inherently relies on defect-free photomasks – the blue print for every microchip. Our devices analyze and manipulate such photomasks by processing huge amounts of data with state-of-the-art algorithms. Become part of the global algorithms team at SMS and shape the future of chip manufacturing!

Your Role

As part of an agile team you will work side-by-side with algorithm developers, high-performance computing engineers and domain experts to take automated image analysis to the next level. Your task is the automation of benchmarks, quality control and development of DevOps infrastructure for scientific simulations and data analysis pipelines. Your innovation-driven mindset makes you follow the latest technical developments, and you want to take ownership for the quality of scientific computing in our organization.

Your Profile

Intensive experience with DevOps engineering for scientific computing
Excellent practical skills with automatization tools for software quality assurance (CI/CD in Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Docker,…) and scientific Python/Matlab/C#/C++
Good understanding of image processing algorithms, and simulation pipelines
University level degree in physics, computer science, engineering, mathematics or similar
Problem solver and supportive team player
