This role would support the incoming/outgoing order processes working between the USA and
Germany divisions of SLM Solutions (internal order management) and be ultimately responsible for
all service operations parts coordination and delivery. This role would be responsible for providing
for the Americas region organization, tracking and delivery data for internal and external
customers. This position would be to provide the critical link between operations, service and our
customers.
- Previous experience in a internal and ideally an external customer service position with a focus on exceeding customer expectations.
- Proficient in Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ideally familiar with CRM platforms (SAP, Salesforce, JIRA, Zoho, etc.)
- Familiarity with shipping, tracking, freight and other modes of international and domestic transit needed for product mobility.
- Self-directed and motivated to prioritize responsibilities in dynamic work environment.
- Must be willing to work at all levels from the basic organization of data to development of process and programs to automate and improve.
- Must possess outstanding communication, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities - Overseeing all aspects of purchase orders
- Inputting orders with internal/external vendors
- Coordinating with service manager and/or customers on completion of purchase orders
- Coordinating shipment information with customers, providing tracking information
- Coordinating orders with service management, finance, sales, and technical support teams in America and Europe.
- Serve as focal for the Demand planning for spare parts
- Occasional travel to customer sites to assist with component tracking which may also include serving as boot on the ground for assessing site readiness prior to installation.
Experience required - 3+ customer service
- Familiarity with high value capital equipment sales, installation and service of that equipment.
- Ideally general understanding of electrical and/or mechanical systems
- Preferred - experience as field service technician/engineer for industrial machinery
Education - Associate degree or military background; 5+ years of comparable capital equipment service experience.
- Preferred - bachelor's in engineering technology
