Sustainability Reporting like EU Taxonomy and CSRD are challenging and still continuously evolving new regulations in terms of application and interpretation. These challenges have shaped the first reporting of the EU Taxonomy and will continue to shape future reporting like CSRD. Sustainability Reporting requires an important amount of data from a wide variety of sources. Special attention needs to be paid to data traceability and auditability.
What part will you play? - We are looking for a sustainability reporting manager to support the DI Sustainability Team.
- Assume responsibility in the CSRD implementation with focus on KPI reporting and controlling as part of a highly committed and motivated team.
- Set strategy for implementation and evolution of standard and regulation reporting.
- You will help drive the maturation of our sustainability reporting and associated tools.
- With deep knowledge of reporting standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. CSRD, EU Taxonomy), you will further develop our systems and processes to ensure compliance and alignment with emerging standards.
- Drive for continuous improvement and flexibility in reporting processes.
- Organize and steer working groups/functional departments towards deadlines.
- Set-up implementation of status report and keep them up to date.
- Support translation of Sustainability Reporting regulations and requirements into operational language.
- Guide overall Sustainability Reporting & Controlling for DI
What you need to make real what matters.
- Possession of a university degree (master's degree/diploma) is required.
- Solid experience of several years in the field of sustainability reporting, financial reporting, or data management, either in a corporate, auditing, or advisory role, is a prerequisite.
- Intricate knowledge of current reporting standards and emerging frameworks, such as CSRD, ESRS, etc., is expected, going beyond mere familiarity with random combinations of letters.
- Effective executive-level presentation crafting should come naturally to you, with a communication style that is direct and persuasive, allowing you to argue, convince, and find consensus when necessary.
- An ability to work independently within your area of responsibility while recognizing your role within a larger team is vital. You should thrive in a work environment that values fun, collegiality, and excellence, with a commitment to exceeding core responsibilities in a dynamic setting.
- Managing complex concepts and ensuring output aligns with quality standards and deadlines should be within your skill set.
- You should be able to collaborate across departments and functions to effectively manage work and deliver results.
- Fluency in both German and English is essential
