The broad product portfolio of plant based food ingredients fuses unique functional performance with nutritional benefits. Supported by the experts of the Food Technology and Nutrition Center, JRS Food Ingredients provides comprehensive application and development service.

• Develops and executes global market strategies for the Business Line Meat and Meat Alternatives and defines a growth agenda, objectives and priorities
• Defines and prioritizes and supports the projects and tasks running at the dedicated meat application lab
• Coordinates and collaborates in planning, creation and release of marketing activities in the meat and meat alternatives segment
• Pursues continuous improvement of market understanding (e. g. regulatory changes, market trends, customer needs and competition)
• Represent the business line in the external communication
• Supports the sales with (joint) visits of key customers and active contribution to exhibitions and seminars
• Is responsible for continuous and systematic business and new product development of the business line
• Elaborates unique selling propositions, value allocation and positioning of each product within the business line
• Maintains and strengthens a supporting structures with regular exchange between the global JRS Sales forces and application teams

• Master's degree in the field of food science, technology, chemistry or engineering
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
• Several years of professional experience ideally in the field of meat and/or meat alternatives desirably
• Experience in texturizing and stabilizing of food products and hydrocolloids or carbohydrates preferred
• Secure handling of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Willingness to travel abroad (approx. 60 days a year)
• Independent and structured way of working
• Strong team and communication skills
• Flexibility, motivation and ability to work under pressure
