Your Role
- In an international, interdisciplinary and motivated team, develop innovative surgical devices for ophthalmologyBecome responsible for the HW development of an optical coherence tomogr
- aphy engine, comprising of optical, electrical and mechanical elements
- Work with internal and external partners to develop and release an optical coherence tomography based medical measurement system
- Define and update component level requirements in conjunction with system engineering and software teams
- Plan, carry out, evaluate, and document tests to verify component requirements
- Work with issue tracking tools to track, plan and coordinate enhancements and new features within the component
- Stay close to our customers and sales organization to ensure successful commercialization and the realization of our growth ambition
Your Profile
- University degree in electrical engineering, optical systems, mechatronics, medical technology, physics or comparable disciplines
- At least five to ten years of professional experience in product development (ideally in medical devices)
- Interest in medical applications
- Broad technological understanding and practical skill
- Know-how in field of measurement technology
- An independent, systematic way of working and a strong focus on resultsVery
- good team player with communication skills
- High degree of responsibility and assertiveness
- Oral and written communication skills in English
