Stellenausschreibung

Join a dynamic team and project under the AI-FES (AI in Feature Effort Support) initiative, registered with the MN RAN AI Project Steering Team. This internship focuses on leveraging neural code search to recommend code files based on historical features, akin to new feature development.

Position: AI FES - Working Student
Duration: 6 months, with potential for extension
Weekly Time Allocation: 10-20 hours
Location: Ulm, Germany
Start Date: 15.June 2025
Education Recommendation: Master's student or above preferred

As a valued member of our team:

You'll contribute to building an embedding model that seamlessly fuses code with related requirements using a Contrastive Training Scheme or similar innovative approach.
Gain hands-on experience integrating this model into a Proof of Concept (PoC) aimed at identifying how requirements impact different code sections.
Participate in studying and refining this concept, exploring alternative mechanisms to achieve our goals.

You bring:

Proven experience with LLMs and embedding models, including fine-tuning.
Ability to develop Front-end interfaces for AI applications.
Familiarity with the AI lifecycle, from data collection to model retraining based on feedback.
Experience integrating RAG on AI applications.

Bonus points for:

Knowledge of evaluation criteria and metrics for AI models.
