The Center for Building Materials at the Technical University of Munich, located in Munich-Pasing (from 2024 Summer relocated to Garching), is one of the leading research institutes for building materials research in Germany. We are currently looking for two student assistants (upto 8 hours per week each) to support the development of computational models, data structures and processing of experimental data gained in the lab. We are developing state-of-the-art multiscale simulation models and machine learning tools for developing novel, sustainable building materials for the future.
Responsibilities:
- Python programming
- Set-up of clear data structures from experimental data for further processing in python
- Translation of existing analog and/or digital data into a Python framework
- Support ongoing research projects and teaching
Your Profile:
- Bachelor degree
- Interest in computer programming and code development using python
- High degree of personal responsibility and independent working style
- Knowledge of computational methods and Machine Learning are beneficial but not obligatory
