IN A NUTSHELL

This internship offers unique practical experience in the digital marketing field of Design Hotels—one of hospitality’s leading companies—putting you at the forefront of today’s complex acquisition, conversion, and retention marketing initiatives. You will be a key player, responsible for coordinating various digitalmarketing newsletter production initiatives with our Digital Experience, Creative, and Content departments. In this exciting role, you will acquire unique skills in the digital project management realm that put you on the forefront of travel and hospitality innovation/trends and that are highly sought after in the marketplace.

• Duration: 6 months
• Compensation: EUR 520 / month
• The internship must be a compulsory part of the study program

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Email marketing campaigns: coordinating production with our creative and content departments, uploading content, implementing tracking codes, setting up target groups for segmentation/personalization
• Email automations: setting up email automations, analyzing performance and reporting of results
• Email marketing optimization: conducting various A/B tests and analyzing results
• Analyzing performance and reporting via various online analytics tools, including Google Analytics
• Creating Keynote presentations on digital marketing initiatives that are then presented to hotels
• Conducting competitive market research and analysis (website activities, email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and user flows)
• Assisting with the production and execution of communications and ad-hoc projects for Design Hotels™ Community
• Organizational and administrative support of the department
• Preparing of meetings, keeping of minutes and follow ups

EXPERIENCE & MINDSET

• Strong affinity for marketing or digital marketing
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills - German is not required
• Good organizational and prioritization skills (task management)
• Proactive team player that shows initiative
• Proficiency in MS office
• Experience working with Keynote (bonus, not required)
• Google Analytics experience (bonus, not required)
