About the Role
The CrowdStrike Intelligence team is looking for a skilled Cloud Security Specialist to join our Technical Analysis Cell (TAC). In this high-impact role, you will research cloud-conscious adversaries and investigate sophisticated attack techniques. You will work with cloud provider logs such as AWS CloudTrail and Azure Activity Logs, perform reverse engineering, and build automation systems to deliver actionable insights.
What You Will Do
- Investigate and reconstruct cloud intrusions using activity logs from major providers.
- Reproduce adversarial techniques in test environments to deepen technical understanding.
- Develop automation tools and scripts to streamline threat actor tracking and analysis.
- Create host-based and network-based signatures like Yara, Snort, or Suricata for large-scale detection.
- Conduct technical analysis and reverse engineering of malicious tools and code.
- Produce high-quality intelligence reports to provide customers with a strategic decision advantage.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate campaign tracking and mitigation strategies.
What You Will Need
- Deep understanding of cloud security concepts, especially Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- Proven ability to analyze logs from AWS, Azure, or GCP to reconstruct security incidents.
- Strong programming skills, particularly in Python, for tool development and automation.
- Expertise in reverse engineering tools such as disassemblers and debuggers to unpack malware.
- Experience in identifying malicious tooling through the development of tracking signatures.
- Proficiency in using AI technologies to optimize workflows and drive business outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to various audiences.
