Step into the dynamic role of Scientific Communications Manager, where you'll shape, enhance, and evolve Medical Communication assets and capabilities. Collaborate with Therapeutic Area (TA) teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and (R)OPUs to drive strategic planning and craft compelling scientific communications content for internal and external use, tailored to customer needs and aligned with overarching business objectives.
- Dive into a multifaceted role that encompasses scientific publications, medical information responses, and related digital assets like digital posters/letters, author/infographic videos, and more.
- Craft a cohesive scientific communications strategy, integrating it with the overall Asset strategy (e.g., Asset Evidence Plan, Integrated Brand Plan) to achieve harmonized communication.
- Collaborate seamlessly with GTM Medical Operation Services and external service partners, ensuring timely, efficient delivery of agile, innovative, and high-quality content that is both patient-centric and customer-centric.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to define a medical communication strategy and develop a diverse communication mix for scientific journals, congresses, digital assets, internal communication, medical information content, newsletters, and publication alerts.
- Contribute valuable insights to the respective project/product, drawing from your global publication and medical information activities.
- Advanced scientific or clinical degree (e.g., PhD, MD, PharmD, M.S.) or several years of relevant job experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in Medical Affairs/ Medical Information in the pharmaceutical industry or at a medical communication agency
- Few years of expertise in Publication management (planning, editorial, publishing and writing)
- Strong project and process management skills combined with some experience in leading project teams and developing plans, scope definition and presentation
- In-depth knowledge of collaborating with external experts/authors; extensive experience in external vendor/budget management
- International experience in daily operations; familiarity with cross-functional teams and multi-country organizations in a global team setup
- Excellent command of the English language, both oral and written; further language skills would be an asset
