What part will you play? - In your new position, you will be responsible for project work on studies for the analysis and planning of electrical grids, as well as tasks in project management and the development of our consulting portfolio.
- You will focus on stationary, dynamic, and transient calculations as well as structural analysis and planning in transmission grids.
- Furthermore, you rely on your confident command of the modelling of systems and components, in particular also of power electronics, as well as the confident handling of data models and data.
- You will also be involved in the management of virtual and intercultural project teams.
- You will build up a customer network and maintain both new and existing customer contacts.
- In order to further strengthen customer loyalty, you will travel to the various customer locations on site.
- You will also support the acquisition of studies and the implementation of sales initiatives.
- You represent Siemens and PTI in national and international expert committees.
What you need to make real what matters. - You have completed a master's degree in electrical engineering or electrical power engineering or have a comparable qualification.
- You also have initial professional experience in the field of electrical transmission grids and their components.
- You have expertise in one or more topics from the areas of steady-state, dynamic and transient network calculations, network structure planning, insulation coordination, power electronics, control engineering and modelling, data analysis or system modelling and data management.
- Furthermore, you are familiar with the characteristic properties of wind and PV parks or battery storage systems and their use cases in the electrical system.
- You have knowledge of software applications for grid analysis (e.g., PSS®E, PSS®NETOMAC, PowerFactory, PSCAD or comparable programs) and can combine these with your good analytical skills and apply them in a customer-oriented manner.
- In order to be able to work successfully in an international environment, you are also characterized by the ability to work in a team, strategic thinking and intercultural sensitivity.
- You are an assertive and business fluent communicator in English
