About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Capability Manager to join our team. The purpose is to help Re-imaging what learning looks like for an in-Store environment.

This role is critical to shaping the learning strategy and helping Coles win in its second century by providing outstanding strategic insight, stakeholder engagement, and learning subject matter expertise, to ensure that Coles has the capabilities it needs for today and into the future.

You’ll also:

• Define the Capability strategy for Supermarkets, to support the achievement of the overall learning, P&C and business strategies
• Research external thought leadership and best practice
• On an annual basis, work with key stakeholders to define the learning programs to be delivered across the organisation 
• Overarching program management for the achievement of the Learning strategy and learning plan including stakeholder management, prioritisation, measurement and reporting
• Oversee the end-to-end definition, design, development, delivery and evaluations of learning programs, partnering with third party vendors where appropriate

About you and your skills

• Extensive experience in a Learning, Organisational Design or Leadership development role
• Proven background leading end to end learning design across multiple projects and methodologies
• Experience working in complex, matrixed style organisations with a proven ability to influence and align stakeholders
• Proven ability to set a strategy and delivery against it
• Experience working in retail / FMCG
• Graduate or Post-Graduate qualifications in Business, Human Resources, Adult Education or Psychology (these are highly regarded) OR
• Certificate IV in training and assessment (highly regarded) OR
• Equivalent workplace experience and demonstrated workplace development (inclusive of short courses and qualifications)
