PlaceSense is actively seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our vibrant team of R&D professionals. With significant presence in Slovakia, bolstered by securing several financial rounds with the leading Slovak VC firm Zero Gravity Capital, we are set for an exciting phase of expansion. Our team is adept at transforming data from mobile applications into aggregated, anonymized insights for businesses, illuminating the intricate connection between people's behavior and physical locations.

As our Data Scientist, you will play a key role in our research, analysis, and development activities. You will be an authoritative figure within the company and instrumental in evolving our unique platform.

Tasks

1. Cultivate a thorough understanding of our various data sets and the value they can offer our customers.
2. Interface with diverse stakeholders across the company, gathering and translating business requirements into data science-focused activities and processes.
3. Conduct research and analysis tasks to generate critical information and insights for prospects and customers.
4. Participate in the development of our platform's algorithm processing layer.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field from a renowned university.
2. A minimum of 3 years' experience in statistics, algorithms, and data science, with proficiency in Python and its associated libraries - Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, etc.
3. Demonstrated experience in SQL, particularly in high data volume environments.
4. Outstanding problem-solving skills, a strong analytical mindset, and a keen technical orientation.
5. Excellent English communication skills – both spoken and written.
6. A self-starter, quick learner, team player, with a proactive, can-do attitude.

Advantages:
