Your Role
You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Data & Analytics and actively contribute to the success of the digital transformation at ZEISS. As an Information Security Specialist at the ZEISS Digital Partners, you are part of our Enterprise Data Foundation team. In this entry level function, you will shape our data standards and the evolution of our data security. You will consult and guide our Data Engineers and Scientists on how to build state-of-the-art data-driven solutions. You will define policies to safeguard our platform and will be exploring new Cloud solutions and architectures to integrate in our Data-Mesh.
Your Profile
- An excellent Bachelor degree, preferably computer science, informatics or mathematics, paired with a passion for data and IT security
- Basic knowledge of identity management solutions (e.g. OAUTH2) as well as securing web applications (TLS, JwT)
- First experience in encryption standards and secure implementations (e.g. HSM, Certificate Infrastructure, Key Vaults)
- A good understanding of relevant regulations (e.g. ISO/IEC 270001, SOX, HIPPA, PCI DSS) is a plus
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) or programming languages like Python are a plus
- Linux and Open Source experience is a plus as well
- Good communication skills in English and German
