As the Retention Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for projects to support the business objectives targeting the paid audience. These projects will include optimizing web pages and outbound messaging campaigns (Email and In-Product messaging). The marketing work is driven by data and analysis, so you need to be comfortable with revealing customer insights and turning that analysis into plans and results. You will report to the Manager of Retention Marketing.

This is a remote position in Ireland, UK, Spain, Germany or Czechia. We will only consider candidates currently in Ireland, UK, Spain, Germany or Czechia and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

About the Role:

• Plan and execute retention marketing campaigns and other initiatives to deliver on our strategic retention objectives.
• Work with Creative, Engineering, and Operations teams to create and maintain assets such as landing pages, emails, and in-product alerts that reach millions of customers each year.
• Utilize analytics reporting platforms to create and generate business reports to demonstrate the impact of retention initiatives on key business metrics.
• Collaborate with worldwide cross-functional teams to build and launch high-impact campaigns across marketing touchpoints.
• Effectively communicate across worldwide teams to manage timelines, delivery, and dependencies.
• Leverage strategic planning experience to support testing (e.g. ideation, briefing, asset creation, deployment, analysis, and continued optimization).
• Stay informed on evolving consumer needs and customer experience trends.

About You:

• Preferably you have a BS/BA degree in advertising, marketing, or equivalent.
• You have at least 7 years of professional experience and proven demonstration of driving numerous online & digital marketing projects and initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• You have notable experience with “customer” obsession, testing process, digital marketing strategy and execution, web analytics, conversion funnel optimization, and qualitative and quantitative research.
• Experience with email marketing, landing page conversion optimization, cart abandonment projects, or general online marketing programs is preferred.
• You can work independently and with a high degree of autonomy and are committed to continuously learning and developing.
• You are motivated, with attention to detail, pride in work, and comfortable delivering excellent work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and highly accountable environment.
• You have strong interpersonal communication skills to develop key relationships and create buy-in across departments to motivate teams to accomplish objectives.
• You can think strategically and execute tactically.
• You are self-motivated and persistent, and you strive for success within established timelines.
• You are a proficient user of Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, or other data processing tools. You can analyze and interpret marketing campaign information, and transform that analysis into actionable results.
• You have knowledge of Adobe Analytics. You are comfortable working with real-time analytics to monitor campaigns and can use that information to diagnose issues or identify opportunities.
• You are comfortable using a variety of web-based marketing tools (in-house and external) to build and execute campaigns.
• You can ensure activities are released following a standardized process and are approved beforehand.
• You have experience with working across languages and cultures, as well as you are comfortable with supporting multiple time zones (e.g., US and EMEA) as your primary shift will need to be within these hours.
