Principal of Quality Assurance (f/m/d)

Your role

You will lead Orbem’s quality assurance strategy, building rock-solid products and applications at scale. As Principal of Quality Assurance, you will champion quality across our entire organization. You will be responsible for defining and implementing a company-wide scalable quality assurance strategy across teams, products, and applications that ensures reliability, and maximizes business outcomes and the external image of Orbem.

Your day-to-day

You will be focusing on the following areas:

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure a strong focus on quality through the entire product and application development lifecycle.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive and scalable quality assurance strategy that encompasses various testing areas (e.g., functional, performance, safety, security).
• Define quality assurance KPIs across teams, products, and applications to monitor quality deliverables.
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, improvements, and focus areas of our quality strategy.
• Integrate partners and suppliers in our quality assurance strategy.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in quality assurance.
• Foster a culture of quality within the organization through communication, processes, and KPIs.

Your experience and skills

Leadership

• You have 7+ years of experience in quality assurance, with proven track records of success in an individual contributor leadership role

• You are an excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills and can influence and collaborate across teams

• You thrive in open communication and feedback-based working cultures

Quality Assurance

• You are knowledgeable of development methodologies and how quality is assured

• You have experience in designing and implementing various testing methodologies

• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• You have experience in developing and implementing quality assurance strategies in matrix-based organizations

• You are proficient in quality assurance tools and methodologies

• You know how to define and monitor quality KPIs aligned with the business needs

• You have a passion for quality and a commitment to continuous improvement

• Familiarity with artificial intelligence and/or automation products in the food industry.
