Overall Purpose of Job:

The function is part of the Global Corporate and Investment

Banking (GCIB) Division and it manages the clients as part of

German franchise. The Associate has a direct reporting

line to one of the Senior Relationship Managers in GCIB

Germany.

Core responsibilities

• To assist in managing a portfolio of GCIB customer

relationships and prospect clients, with the support of

the Senior RM. Responsibility in line with agreed

business plan as part of the German coverage team,

based in Frankfurt.

• Manage and develop day to day client interactions,

identifying and understanding clients´ needs.

• Be responsible for all KYC and AML/Sanctions related

matters for your client portfolio with the support of the

Client Service Manager in Düsseldorf as well as customer

due diligence.

• As part of First Line of Defence, promote a strong risk

and compliance culture within the team with no

material breaches of risk and compliance frameworks.

Assist the Manging Director with the development of the team´s

business plans, update on financial performance and other internal

reporting duties.

Profile and Requirements

• Fluent in German and English both spoken and written
• A degree in finance/business administration or related subject with above average grades
• A minimum of 3 years work experience in the financial industry
• Passion for client needs and best-in-class service
• Prepared to work in an international and diverse team
