Your responsibilities and tasks:

The Manufacturing Engineer Intern will work with the Lean Department and Operations Departments to improve efficiency, improve quality, and eliminate waste in the manufacturing processes. They will work with others to develop creative solutions to support the production team.

Works with others to identify and develop solutions to existing issues to eliminate waste and improve efficiency using Lean practices.
Work with operational departments to create Value Stream Maps by analyzing current workflows for improvement.
Execute assigned continuous improvement projects.
Improve existing data collection systems to achieve better operational analytics.
Share new technology opportunities to improve operational efficiency.

Your profile and qualifications:

High School Diploma
Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate degree program in: Advanced Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Microsoft Office Suite
