What to Expect

The SME Sales Lead will be responsible for sales to medium-sized corporate clients and for managing a team of account managers across Germany and Eastern Europe. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with these clients and managing the full end-to-end customer journey. The SME Sales Lead will report to the Business Sales Lead Germany.

What You’ll Do

Develop Tesla’s Business 2 Business Sales to SME Clients with a fleet up to 400 cars
Reach out proactively to medium-sized corporates within Germany that have not referred to Tesla yet. Operate with a real “hunter” mentality, with high activity levels to stimulate demand.
Own the relationship for medium-sized corporate clients within Germany; not only educating them about our company and our vehicle offerings but ensuring a great customer journey throughout.
Leverage existing leasing company relationships to grow sales within the medium-sized corporate segment.
Establish and manage all contractual agreements with these customers; where applicable. Communicate the Tesla Workflow to the client and make sure it is followed.
Actively partner with the B2B Lead to develop a cohesive strategy for the growth of Business-to-Business sales within Germany.
Work closely with the Enterprise Managers for large corporate clients to make use of synergetic effect and to optimize B2B processes.

What You’ll Bring

You have significant experience as a people manager in sales with proven track record to meet and exceed targets and goals. You are a leader and able to motivate and inspire people
You have a strong understanding of B2B customers and change management skills.
You are a self-starter and a team-player. You are strategic and proactive. You must think and plan ahead to give your team the tools they need to be successful.
You take ownership and operate with first principles thinking. You love to change the status quo and work well in high-pressure situations.
You possess a rare combination of mental agility, analytical thinking, hands-on problem solving, and a customer-service mindset.
You are an advocate for your customers and your team. Your success depends on theirs.
Fluency in English and German required.
