Python Developer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• You design and implement state-of-the-art software architectures digitalizing our production.
• You develop and deploy software applications which provide production data or visualize and optimize production processes.
• You evaluate and introduce new technologies and best practices for Python projects.
• You identify and participate in group-wide Python projects in close cooperation with Data Engineers, Data Scientists and customers.
• You contribute to “Digital Factory”, the digital transformation program at Aurubis.
• You act as an expert partner and contact person for modern software architectures and Python.

Your Profile

• You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, natural sciences, information technology or equivalent, Master or PhD is a plus.
• You have at least two years of hands-on experience in Python software development in an agile environment.
• You have knowledge of software development best practices (CI/CD, version control, test-driven, clean code, pair programming) and security standards.
• You have experience with Jira, Confluence or similar tools.
• Experience with REST APIs, SQL, Linux, containers, ETL, big data technologies, cloud environments (preferably Azure) or k8s is a plus.
• You have team spirit with a high degree of independence and an agile mindset.
• Being active in the Python community (e.g. Open Source, Stack Exchange) is a strong plus.
• You have passion for industrial manufacturing.
