Junior Data Engineer (m/f/d)

Our Data Platform team enables data-driven decision-making at home24 and our partners by developing impactful data products with end-to-end responsibility from data integration to dashboards and data science applications. As part of our growing team, you'll work on an exciting new project, making it an ideal time to welcome you to our team.

• Collaborate with your team members to design, implement and maintain data processing pipelines in different clouds (AWS and Azure)
• Assist in defining the vision and objectives for data products by working closely with product managers, analysts, and other team members
• Support analysts in developing high-performing and insightful dashboards by providing necessary data infrastructure
• Implement automated monitoring tools to ensure data accuracy and reliability
• Engage proactively with cross-functional teams to identify and implement pragmatic solutions to business problems
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data engineering processes and best practices

• University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or a related area
• First experience working on projects using Python or Scala with data processing frameworks
• Understanding of SQL
• A passion for emerging technologies
• Understanding of data modeling concepts
• Experience with the AWS or Azure clouds
• Experience in e-commerce is a plus

• Hybrid working model: you have the flexibility to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays in our standard working mode. We are in the office together Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays
