We are seeking a motivated PhD student (f/d/m) with expertise in RNA and infection biology for a 4-year doctoral project within the DFG-funded research unit DEEP-DV (FOR5200 | DEEP-DV: Disrupt – Evade – Exploit). This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research.

Your task

• Engage in a well-defined PhD project with expert supervision.
• Become part of a highly interactive, interdisciplinary research team.
• Participate in structured training programs offered by MHH’s graduate schools in infection and immunity.

Our requirements

• Hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Virology, or a related field.
• Demonstrate a strong interest in host-pathogen interactions and molecular mechanisms of gene regulation.
• Possess excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

• A part-time position initially limited until 30 September 2029 with 25.03 hours per week with one of the largest employers in the state of Lower Saxony
