For our headquarters in Berlin, we are currently looking for a

Exhibition and Sponsorship Manager (f/m/d) (Fulltime 40 h/week) to support our Business Development/Industry Liaison Team. We are in constant exchange with industry partners developing and supporting the implementation of exhibition and sponsorship concepts, workshops, symposia, and other campaigns establishing and maintaining valuable industry relationships to secure long-term business.

Tasks

Your Tasks Include:

• Coordination of exhibitors and sponsors service orders and products
• Providing support to our customers before, during and after each event
• Communicate regularly with exhibitors and sponsors regarding project orders, deliverables, and deadlines
• Responsible for managing and planning technical /operational aspects referring to exhibition and sponsorship products
• Implementation, coordination, and organization of the exhibition and sponsoring services in close cooperation with the project team
• Manage and submit purchase orders and payment approvals in our inhouse ordering system
• Overall coordination of the suppliers (booth builders, A/V, IT, and shipping) and other service providers on exhibition production
• Tendering of services, evaluation of service offers, contract preparation and commissioning
• Monitoring of the budget for the exhibition and sponsorship orders
• Evaluation and follow-up of the congress as well as debriefing with the industrial partners and in the project team
• Planning and implementation of all projects related tasks such as documentation and reporting
• Upselling activities by offering additional products and services to exhibitors and sponsors
• Willingness to learn innovative in-house technologies

Requirements

Your Profile:

• Several years of experience in congress management and/or sponsorship and exhibition management
• Strong customer service focused mentality
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Analytical thinking and flexibility
• Ability to act independently and on your own responsibility
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken), any other language is preferred but not required
• Willingness to travel
