About the role

Due to our dynamic growth, we are currently looking for a Financial Analyst (m/f/d) to join our global Analytics & Business Intelligence Team and to support the group top management with financial planning decisions while playing a key role in enhancing our internal tools and procedures on business planning and valuation.
This position is preferably located in our company’s head office in Munich, keeping in mind that mobile working is part of our DNA.

• You will model, develop, update and own the group’s consolidated financial business plan, collaborating with the Business Entities, Treasury, and Finance and Controlling departments, working directly with BayWa r.e.’s top management
• You will present and discuss the results of the business plan modelling regularly at top management level
• You will evaluate projects and business development activities around the globe in terms of cost and value, fostering best practices with models and analysis tools

• You have 3-4 years of experience with financial modelling as an analyst at an auditing firm, a corporate finance consultancy or comparable position, preferably in renewable energy
• You have an excellent degree in a numerical subject such as Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or similar with finance-related aspects
• You have very strong MS Excel skills
• You are a self-motivated and enthusiastic team player with a getting-things-done mindset, willing to provide support to all colleagues
• You are proactive and committed to improve tools and innovate procedures
• You are a good communicator and well-versed in conveying insights to top management
• Your very structured way of working, strong reasoning skills and good command of English complete your profile
