What you can do with us:

• Join our Data Engineering team to participate in developing the company's production data architecture to support Data Science and Business Intelligence needs.
• Utilise your knowledge of relational databases to maintain our existing database structure while managing ETL processes. Your educational background will provide you with a solid foundation to help develop and maintain our data infrastructure.
• Ensure database quality by implementing automated tests and having understanding of the business logic behind the data.
• Use your expertise in Python and experience with popular frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or dagster to maintain our data services, applications, and pipelines.

What you should bring for it:

• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics or similar.
• Based in Berlin or willing to relocate with an already existing German work permit.
• First experience as a Data Engineer, preferably in a startup or fintech company.
• Strong Python skills, familiarity with relevant frameworks and ability to write structured and well documented code.
• Basic SQL knowledge, familiarity with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, and management of ETL processes.
• Working knowledge about test driven development
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker and cloud infrastructure is a plus.
• Experience in Data Analysis, Machine Learning, and/or Data Visualization is a plus.
• Excellent English speaking and writing abilities.
