At quantilope, our Data Scientists are part of a cross-functional team and continuously develop our Insights Automation Platform together with Product Managers, Product Designers and Software Engineers. Specifically, the Data Science team is working on generating advanced consumer insights usable by non-technical users and on creating innovative and automated user experiences, both by using the latest Machine Learning and AI technologies. We are looking for a Data Scientist who can deliver results to high standards, who is open and passionate about learning and testing new technologies and who is an analytic and problem solver using creative approaches to new challenges.

Please note that this position is exclusively available for hybrid or remote work from within Germany.

• You’ll be end-to-end developing, training and integrating machine learning models (supervised, unsupervised, LLM) for production-ready deployment in our platform.
• You collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications and collaborate with other teams to deploy Data Science related features into our platform.
• You automate data analytics and visualizations that are applicable and interpretable by non-technical users.
• You develop concepts for setting-up and applying research methods that are easy to use while at the same time being statistically and scientifically valid.
• You act quickly and decisively upon changing environment and you stay up-to-date with the latest technical advancements in the area of AI and Machine Learning, incorporate them into your work and share them with colleagues.

• You have an advanced university degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• You have at least 2 years of professional working experience in Data Science and you possess deep and broad knowledge about statistical methods, building advanced and understandable machine learning models.
• You have strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with popular packages (Pytest, Flask/FastAPI, Pandas, Numpy, Sklearn), Deep Learning Frameworks (PyTorch, JAX) and NLP frameworks (Langchain).
• You have experience in the software industry and a track record of delivering high-quality and scalable machine learning services via APIs to production.
• You are an excellent and creative problem solver, you are comfortable with ambiguous results and environments and you are curious to learn new tools and technologies.
• You are fluent in English and you have excellent communication skills, also to non-technical audiences, and the ability to empathise with users and to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure for software deployment (Kubernetes, Helm).
• Experience in the area of marketing or consumer insights.
