We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist/Analyst (f/m/d) to join our development team. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in creating a real-time recommendations, scheduling, and forecasting system. You will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in Python and R languages to develop advanced setups, algorithms, and models for data analysis and prediction. Your strong background in mathematics, statistics, and problem-solving will be instrumental in tackling complex, NP-hard problems.

What you can expect in this role

• Collaborate with the development team: Work closely with our development team to design and implement a real-time recommendations, scheduling, and forecasting system. Provide guidance and insights from a data science perspective.

• Model development: Utilize your expertise in R to develop robust statistical models for data analysis, prediction, and optimization. Apply advanced algorithms and techniques to uncover patterns, insights, and trends in complex datasets.

• Real-time recommendations: Develop algorithms and systems to provide real-time recommendations based on user behavior, historical data, and other relevant factors. Continuously optimize and improve the recommendation engine to enhance user experience and engagement.

• Scheduling and forecasting: Create forecasting models and algorithms to predict future trends, demand, and resource allocation. Develop efficient scheduling systems that optimize resources and minimize costs.

• Problem-solving: Apply your experience in solving NP-hard problems to analyze and address complex challenges related to data analysis, optimization, and prediction. Develop innovative solutions and algorithms to overcome computational limitations.

• Data analysis and visualization: Conduct comprehensive data analysis using Python and R to derive meaningful insights and actionable recommendations. Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner through visually appealing reports and presentations.

• Collaboration and knowledge sharing: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and align data science initiatives with organizational goals. Share knowledge, best practices, and industry trends with team members to foster continuous learning and growth.

Your essential experience and education

• Strong programming skills: Proficiency in Python and R languages is essential. Experience in developing advanced setups and algorithms using Python is highly desirable.

• Mathematical background: Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field is required. In-depth knowledge of multidimensional statistics, linear algebra, and multivariate analysis is necessary to develop and evaluate statistical models.

• Forecasting expertise: Proven experience in developing forecasting models and algorithms to predict future trends and demand is highly preferred.

• Problem-solving skills: Demonstrated experience in solving NP-hard problems and working with complex datasets. Ability to think analytically and develop innovative solutions to address computational limitations.

• Machine learning knowledge: Familiarity with machine learning techniques and algorithms is an advantage. Experience in applying ML models for data analysis and prediction is beneficial.

• Excellent communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience in data visualization and reporting is a plus.
