At present, more than 1000 students from local and international families study at our institution from the age of one until they reach university entrance qualifications. The teaching language is English. German is taught as a compulsory subject. Our concept focuses on global-openness, internationality, and diversity, and thus on our overall motto "Learning to be a citizen of the world". Our more than 200 staff members from 34 nations work together to create a stimulating and interesting learning environment for all children and students. The students are thus supported and accompanied from their first steps in this world to applying for training and university places and beyond. Since 2014, Leipzig International has been located at two sites: the primary school and secondary school (grades 1 to 12) are located at Könneritzstraße 47 / Schleußig, the Leipzig International Kindergarten at Karl-Heine-Straße 95 / Plagwitz.
