Principle duties and essential functions

Monthly payroll processing for employees in Europe, including processing and administration of employee master data and transactional data

Manage external payroll service providers

Secure compliance with regulatory as well as internal guidelines and policies

Initiate payments to employees and authorities and respond to payroll-related inquiries

Secure timely and accurate statutory filings with local authorities
-
Prepare monthly reconciliation of payroll data and postings as well as standard and ad-hoc analyses as required
Other tasks and responsibilities

Support internal and external audits

Support various projects (e.g. implementation of legal changes, compensation models, improvements)
Knowledge, skills and experience required
-
Professional commercial education, academic degree or equivalent
-
Profound knowledge in payroll, including taxation and social contributions
-
First practical experience in payroll (ideally in an international environment)

Familiar with MS Office and payroll-systems (preferably DATEV)
-
Accurate, hands-on and services-oriented approach as well as reliable, discreet and open-minded personality

Good English and German language skill
