The Role
Support engineering groups while working within the research and development of power electronics systems, including tearing down converters and preparing samples for failure analysis, fabricating test setups and cable harnesses, troubleshooting electromechanical issues in a high voltage lab environment.
- Experience with hands-on electronics troubleshooting and failure analysis.
- Proficient with hand tools (including soldering irons), power tools, bandsaws, and CNC machining.
- Experienced with mechanical cross-sectioning, polishing, and optical microscopy
Additional Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of high voltage safety.
- Experience building and operating high-voltage electromechanical test setups.
